Voter Fraud is a Fraud. An independent audit of Montana's elections in 2006 found absolutely no evidence of voter fraud. Partisan Voter Suppression is Common and Widespread. But there is a long history of partisan voter suppression in our country -- especially of Republicans using claims of voter fraud to deny minorities, low-income Americans, and students the right to vote. [The American Prospect, 4/1/08]

Even Unchallenged Voters are Likely to be Snared by this Net. These attempts to suppress the vote hurt us all. County election officials across the state right now are trying to focus on registering voters, turning around absentee ballots, and preparing for Election Day.
