Voter registration for Montana's primary election closes on May 5th. On May 5th, your best bet is to register in person at your local county courthouse.The Secretary of State's office provides a list of local election administrator offices here.

LATE REGISTRATION

If you miss the voter registration deadline, you can register and vote in person at your local election administrator office during normal business hours between Monday, May 5th and Friday, May 30th, before noon on Monday, June 2nd, or between 7am and 8pm on Tuesday, June 3rd. You can find your local election office here on the Secretary of State's website. Not sure if you're registered to vote? EARLY VOTING/VOTING BY MAIL/ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Interested in voting early or voting absentee? Luckily, in Montana -- that is pretty easy. Just download this absentee ballot request, fill it out, and mail it in. OR you can go down to your county election administrator's office (info up above) and vote early in person before Election Day. Living overseas and worried about getting your ballot on time?
