The Montana Republican Party is challenging the voter registrations of 6,000 Montanans. Over half of those challenges have come in Missoula County, where many, many students live. Other challenges have targeted Glacier and Hill Counties, both Reservation counties.

Write a letter to the editor and send a clear message that we don't take kindly to voter suppression 'round these parts.

What do pink bunnies have to do with voter registration? Nothing. But our pink bunny is committed, cute, and mildly threatening -- just like all of our committed pink bunny volunteers.

What does re-registering to vote have to do with this fall's election? Everything. A number of cities across Montana, including Missoula, are implementing universal mail voting this fall on a trial basis. That means that the county will mail your ballot to you. But the only do it if you're registered at your current address.

So we're recruiting a lot of pink bunnies to help us register and re-register voters, so that everyone gets to vote ... and we don't feel any wrath.
